the MCD will hold a Chinese New Celebration in Frankfurt. This year we will welcome the Year of Rat, according to the Chinese lunar calendar.

This event will be held on Feb. 16, 2020 (Sunday) at the Selera Malaysian Restaurant, Münchner Strasse 52, 60329 Frankfurt, from 12.00 hour to 15.00 hour.

The venue is in the vicinity of the Frankfurt Central Station.

Delicious cuisines will be served and fun slots will be waiting for our guests.

This is a chance for all Malaysians around Frankfurt and beyond to have a reunion and meet new friends under one roof.

Various dishes from Malaysia will be prepared and the kitchen team will be led by Malaysia’s celebrity cook Chef Dato’ Ismail Ahmad, the Tourism Malaysia Ambassador (Gastronomy).

Abstract:

Diwali or Deepavali is the Hindu festival of lights, which is
celebrated every autumn in the northern hemisphere (spring
in southern hemisphere). One of the most popular festivals of
Hinduism, Diwali symbolizes the spiritual “victory of light over
darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance”.
During the celebration, temples, homes, shops and office
buildings are brightly illuminated. The preparations, and
rituals, for the festival typically last five days, with the climax
occurring on the third day coinciding with the darkest night of
the Hindu Lunisolar month Kartika. In the Gregorian calendar,
the festival generally falls between mid-October and mid-
November.

Better late than never.

The club has been opening reservation to join this trip to a vineyard at Hochheimer Terasse. Unfortunately the reservation is already closed.

On Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018, starting from 11.00 a.m., this event will kick off at Hochheimer Terasse.

The participants will have brunch first, before proceeding to tour the vineyard around the venue.

Dear members and friends,

after the month of Ramadan, let’s all get together in our glamorous Hari Raya clothes to celebrate Hari Raya Aidil Fitri.
